In this session we will explore why listening is essential to foster meaningful dialogue which promotes learning in the classroom. We’ll be joined by experts in dialogic teaching who will explore how, through effective listening, you can develop your students’ thinking and understanding and promote student agency. We’ll also address potential barriers to achieving a truly dialogic classroom, including our own listening practices, and consider how to overcome these challenges.

You’ll leave with a better understanding of how to create a dialogic classroom where you and your students engage in rich, productive dialogue which furthers learning.
